I won’t go into detail about it, in case someone sees this, but a neighbor talked to the owner(a family member), and they liked his plan and okay’d him taking it. He plans on keeping it Grabber, and mostly stock(351/auto).
Despite the damage, it looks quite straight and rust free.

It might need some front end straightening, but overall it seems mostly rust free. If he hasn’t pulled it out by winter, I’ll look at it closer when snakes shouldn’t be an issue. He asked me what I thought it would take to put it back on the road, and I guessed $20k on the low end, and he didn’t seem too shaken by that. Plus, he knows most everybody in the areas, so he probably can get a good deal on work.

Good places to check are under the doors, trunk lip, and any odd underbody structure. I know little about mustangs, but if it is similar then they should make all new body panels and a new front subframe. The front end is the easy part.

That’s a 70. Is it a Windsor/C4 or Cleveland/FMX?
I had the 2v Cleveland/FMX in my 73 Mustang and it was... loud. Felt quicker than it was, too.
